So, now the “little miss curious” in me decided to give it a try! To get to know Ms. Turns out not only is it famous, but it is considered - a masterpiece. I did some research about it together with its author, Gustave Flaubert. I remember hearing about it, but it never crossed my mind to check it out, not until now. Then I saw a clip about “Madame Bovary.’’ I know this is going to sound embarrassing, but I didn’t know that it was a famous book(like super famous!). Am I making sense here? So I browsed at Goodreads, Instagram bibliophile account, and even TikTok! Don’t get me wrong P&P is a classic, and will always be, but I wanted something new…something popular, but not. I was supposed to read Pride and the Prejudice, ( since Valentines is just around the corner, and it is considered one of the pillars of how a love story is, haha!) again! For my classic choice for this month, I know! Can I be more predictable? Haha! Anyways, for somewhat reason, I changed my mind.
